"Whoever invented the power meter, you know the one outside your home that never breaks down, should have been consulted upon in making automobiles, coffee makers, washing machines and computers, you know- the things that consistently break or freeze up. The things that cost you a lot of money, much like the power meter, only you never hear of one of those freezing up or breaking do you?"-Crystal J.A. Melanson, July 23rd, 2007.

I love quotes! I have been reading quotes forever, I have been writing some of my own along the way. I cannot pass up a quote that is at the bottom of a magazine page in small print. I have to read it! I have to read a quote wherever I see it. Here's the reason why: They make sense. Almost any quote you read can have relevence to some time in your life. Some you may have to re-read a couple of times and then you will go Ah Ha!! I've got it!
The organization of words in quotes, much like good book writing, can be enlightening to the writer as well as the reader. Some people will carry a scrap of paper with a quote on it in their wallets or a special compartment of their purse and look at it or read it again when they feel they need some understanding or encouragement at particular times in life. Some people try to live their lives drawing from the inspiration of a quote. Quotes are hung as plaques on walls or used as club mottos. Nowadays you can find a quote virtually everywhere, on web pages, newletters or recipe books.
Read them! You just may find meaning or understanding, possibly even peace of mind at times when you most need it.
"Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today."-James Dean.
"Everyday is a new life. Seize it. Live it"-Daivid Guy Powers.
"The great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do."-Walter Bagenot.
The following is a beautiful verse from a tombstone in Cumberland England, this is my favorite verse that I have ever read-
"The wonder of the world, the beauty and the power, the shape of the things, their colours, light and shades, these I saw. Look ye also while life lasts."
I will be updating and expanding pages on this website on a weekly, sometimes bi-weekly basis depending on my own time restrictions.
Thank you for reading,
Crystal Melanson.

will always be unattainable to those who cannot feel them.
